Once at the port by the Chagres River, friendly Embera villagers will take you and the guide in a traditional canoe for 30 minutes in the Chagres river, the main source of water for the Panama Canal.
We will leave the boat at one shore of the river from where we will start the hike to a hidden waterfall.
After swimming and staying at the waterfall for 1 hour, we will hike back to the canoe and then to the village.
Once in the village, you will be welcomed by this friendly community.
There you will have fruits and lunch while the nocó (chief of an Embera village) share with you about their traditions and culture. This amazing time is complemented by a performance of traditional music and dance, they will show you what to do and then you will dance with them if you wish.
Finally, we will go back to the port and then rest in the car while you enjoy the way back to the hotel.
